My first post of the year
Happy to be back at West Lothian College and delighted to be introducing more students to the wonders of Blogging! This morning we had a visit from Mike and Dan, co-owners of Scoffable.com . They explained that they started the business in 2010 when they were both students. Dan was studying software engineering and had to make a website as an assessment project. As students they both used take-always regularly and found it boring to have to search for particular takeaway businesses and also found that couldn't always see a menu or make payments by card. So they set up a searchable site where users could enter their post code and come up with a list of nearby takeaways. :-)
